Terms of Service
Last updated July 13, 2026
These terms govern your use of the Restock Shopify app. By installing or using Restock you agree to them.
The service
Restock provides back-in-stock waitlists and notifications (email, SMS, WhatsApp, web push), preorders and deposits, price-drop alerts, crowdfunding-style campaigns, and demand analytics/AI, as described on our Features page. Feature availability depends on your plan tier.
Billing
Paid plans (Growth, Pro, Enterprise) are billed exclusively through the Shopify Billing API — we never charge off-platform. The Free plan is the no-cost way to try Restock before upgrading. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time from the in-app Plans page; on downgrade, subscribers over the new plan's limit are marked expired but not deleted.
Your responsibilities
You are responsible for the notifications sent to your customers, including obtaining any consent required for SMS and WhatsApp messaging in your jurisdiction, honoring opt-outs, and complying with applicable marketing and privacy law. Do not use Restock to send unsolicited or deceptive messages.
Preorders, deposits & campaigns
Preorders, deposits, and campaigns are tools you configure; you remain the merchant of record and are responsible for fulfilling orders, honoring ship dates, and issuing any refunds required by your policies and by law.
Data
Subscriber data is scoped to your shop and processed as described in our Privacy Policy. We honor Shopify's GDPR webhooks, including shop redaction after uninstall.
Warranty & liability
The service is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Restock is not liable for indirect or consequential damages — including lost sales from delayed or undelivered notifications — and our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior three months.
Changes & contact
We may update these terms; material changes will be communicated in-app or by email. Questions: restock@webb9.com.
