AI review-edit allowances are plan-based and shown in the Reviews page: Free 10/month, Starter 50/month, Growth 250/month, and Pro 1,000/month.

Additional AI edits are blocked until the monthly reset date. Failed or cancelled AI requests are not deducted, and manual review editing/moderation remains available.

Through the Shopify Billing API only. There's no separate trial period on paid plans — the Free plan is the no-cost way to try Rately, and you can upgrade whenever you're ready. No order/storage/seat overage charges.

Before downgrade, Rately shows an impact summary with removed features, lower limits, usage already above those limits, automations that will pause, and data that remains available.

No. Existing reviews normally remain stored and published. Lower plans can lock future imports, AI edits, automations, premium analytics, integrations, or customization; downgrade does not silently delete review data.

Uninstalling revokes sessions and AI keys immediately. Shopify then sends shop/redact after 48 hours, and Rately permanently erases app-managed reviews, imported reviews, settings, media metadata, Q&A, requests, chat history, and audit data.

Rately storefront widgets render from Rately app-hosted data. After uninstall, the app blocks and scripts stop loading, so reviews stored only in Rately will no longer display. Reviews exported to CSV before uninstall remain available to you.

There is only Shopify's short uninstall-to-shop/redact window, normally 48 hours. After shop/redact is processed, active app data is permanently deleted and cannot be restored from the app.
