Uninstalling Mapify deletes your data automatically
When a merchant uninstalls Mapify, Shopify sends us a shop/redact webhook 48 hours later. On receipt, Mapify permanently deletes every piece of shop-scoped data: locations, dealers, dealer applications, leads, inventory sync connections and history, chat conversations, audit logs, and settings. No manual request is needed for this standard flow.
Shopify customer data requests
Mapify also honors Shopify’s customers/data_request and customers/redact webhooks: if a shopper requests their data or its deletion through Shopify, any matching records Mapify holds (for example, a dealer application or storefront lead submitted with that shopper’s email) are included or erased accordingly.
Requesting deletion outside the standard flow
If you’d like your shop’s data deleted before uninstalling, or need to confirm deletion of a specific record, email mapify@webb9.com from the store’s registered email address with your myshopify.com domain, and we will process the request.
