Mapify Terms of Service

Last updated 2026-07-19

The service

Mapify is a Shopify app that helps merchants publish a store locator, manage dealer/retailer listings, sync inventory availability, and offer local pickup on their storefront. These terms apply to any merchant who installs Mapify from the Shopify App Store.

Your account and data

You are responsible for the accuracy of the location, dealer, and inventory data you enter or import into Mapify, and for any content (e.g. location descriptions) you publish to your storefront through it. You retain ownership of your data at all times; see our Privacy Policy for how it’s stored and deleted.

Bring-your-own-key (BYOK) providers

Mapify lets you connect your own map provider (e.g. Google Maps, Mapbox) and AI provider keys. Any usage costs for those providers are billed directly by them to your own account under their own pricing and terms — Mapify is not a party to that billing relationship and is not responsible for third-party provider outages, rate limits, or pricing changes.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Mapify to store or publish unlawful content, to abuse the storefront-facing endpoints (e.g. scripted submission of dealer applications or chat messages), or to attempt to circumvent rate limits, authentication, or plan entitlements.

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Mapify available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features, limits, and these terms may be updated from time to time; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date above.

Termination

You may uninstall Mapify at any time from your Shopify admin. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these terms or of Shopify’s own policies. See our Privacy Policy for what happens to your data on uninstall.
